Tuition FAQs What is an Audited Course? If you would like to attend the class without completing the coursework, you may apply to audit. Only semester courses may be audited. This option is not available for workshops. What is a Sibling discount? If two or more students in one family attend the same class time at the same computer, each additional sibling may do so at a discount. For workshops, siblings pay only $15 which will still allow them to have access to online games, and quizzes. For semester classes, siblings will have all the privileges of a full student but will be limited in classroom response. We strongly recommend that siblings attend language courses as individuals. Registration Fee We do not charge a separate registration fee. Register for more, get a discount! Each family is eligible for a 10% discount on other workshops and semester classed during a single semester when you register for a semester class at full price. This discount can not be combined with any other offers.
Refund Policy: If you are new to The Lukeion Project and are not sure if our courses are a good fit for your student, we are pleased to speak with you personally about the classes until your questions have been answered. If you wish, you may view a session and test your computer and connection with us in person. We want you to make an informed decision about your registration. We do not charge a registration fee because we believe that the majority of our families weigh their commitment carefully before registering for a class and would never register for courses they do not intend to take. Unlike most distance learning providers, our courses are live. This places a strict limit on the number of class participants. When you register for a class you reduce the number of available seats and commit income to the instructors. While we do make exceptions in the case of extreme family tragedy, we will provide a 75% refund up to 14 days prior to the start of a semester course. After 14 days prior to the start of class, we will not refund any fees paid for a course. Credit may be left on a family account at our discretion on a case-by-case basis provided withdrawal is at least 7 days prior to the start of class. Please be aware that your student is not added to the course roster until you have completed your payments. Failure to Deliver: We do from time to time encounter unforeseen circumstances that require our attention and take us out of the classroom. We will always make reasonable provisions to fulfill our promises in the event of normal illnesses and family emergencies. If we determine that we are unable to provide or complete a promised course due to long-term illness or family tragedy, we will refund tuition fees. Technical difficulties on the part of your personal computer or connection to the internet do not generally warrant a refund.
